Food & Shelter for the Homeless

At Scott For God, we think it is important to help meet people’s physical needs as part of living out the gospel message. Our Food and Shelter for the Homeless Program provides meals and clothing as well as basic necessities to those, both individuals and families, who are homeless. While hunger and homelessness can be overwhelming, we hope to not only serve as nourishment for the body but also as encouragement for the soul.

Our mission is more than just meeting people’s temporary needs. We want to hold up every individual we serve with dignity, hope, and faith. We do this by providing prayer and compassion and a listening ear as we provide assistance to meet their practical needs. Scott For God seeks to remind people in the homeless community that they are seen, valuable and loved by God through every action we take. All we do in service comes from Christ’s command to care for the least of these.

Community Outreach

Scott For God is committed to providing support to those in need both individually and in their families. We offer many types of outreach, including prayer support, counseling, and assistance with basic needs. We provide support to individuals and families through prayer, counseling, and essential support in outreach to local communities. We will assist wherever we are able.

All of Scott For God’s outreach is built on relationships and faith. Here at Scott For God, everyone is welcome irrespective of their background, and can join our regular all-inclusive gatherings. We strive to share and offer support in a warm, welcoming, and non-discriminatory manner. Scott For God will support people and communities through community partnerships, virtual church services, and local outreach initiatives. Those who connect to Scott For God will find both assistance from a church to help them and an opportunity to serve their local communities as part of the church family.

Gospel Spreading Events

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has always, from the start, been central to everything that we have done at Scott For God, as we believe in spreading its words across the world. To do so, we hold regular Gospel Spreading events both online and in-person so that faith can be spread and followed more easily. We create this opportunity by giving space for worship, prayer, any queries someone might have about the Bible, marriage, burials, and any other life missions, where all of it becomes accessible to everyone as well.

All of our events are open for the general public and are non-denominational in nature. Through our digital platforms, we are also able to reach out to people outside of the church walls and, through that, are able to create a more widespread online church community of believers from all walks of life. Our gatherings are so much more than just simple events. In them, they also serve as a gateway for complete transformations, encouragement, and newfound or renewed faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
